Request a Donation

Refinery Wellness Center receives numerous requests for donations. To ensure all contributions align with our charitable giving values, the following guidelines have been established.

Please keep in mind: Refinery Wellness Center is a cooperative of nine individual businesses sharing space under one roof. When submitting your request, you will be asked which business you are requesting the donation from, so we can ensure the request is directed appropriately. As truly small, locally owned businesses, every donation we provide represents a meaningful investment of our time, services, and resources. Recognition of our contribution helps introduce new clients to our services and allows us to continue supporting local organizations and community initiatives in the future.

Donation Request Process

We kindly ask that all organizations complete the Donation Request Form below for consideration.

Eligibility

The receiving organization, agency, or event should generally be located within our local community.

We prioritize donations that support:

  • Health and wellness initiatives

  • Education

  • Human services

  • Community or cultural development

  • Youth programs

  • Local nonprofit organizations

Consideration

All donation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Factors that may be considered include:

  • The number of people who may benefit

  • The impact the activity or project will have on the community

  • Alignment with Refinery Wellness Center’s mission and values

  • A connection to our local community or client base

Requests That Cannot Be Supported

Refinery Wellness Center does not provide donations for:

  • Operating or administrative costs to run a business or organization

  • Campus student organizations, fraternities, or sororities

  • Merchandise promotions or commercial marketing efforts

  • Organizations that may represent a conflict of interest

Community Recognition

When possible, we kindly ask organizations receiving a donation to:

  • Recognize the donor at the event or fundraiser

  • Tag or mention us on social media when promoting the event

  • Include our business name in event materials when applicable

  • Send a thank-you note or message following the event

These small gestures help make continued community support possible.

Submission Timeline

Please submit donation requests at least one month prior to your event to allow adequate time for review.
